Derek Ng
With experience ranging from Sales, Pre-Sales to Consulting, Derek has used his technical background from Systems Management at the University of Waterloo to Laputa Technologies. Having worked for Fortune 500 companies like Salesforce.com and Mitac Inc. in Toronto, Singapore and Taiwan has given Derek tremendous insight into the needs for customers in the enterprise software space across the world. Having worked with such high-profile clients as Crocs Asia, Lockheed Martin, SBS Television Australia, IBM and the Taiwan Government, Derek brings a mix of technical and sales experience to the Laputa team. Derek is a certified administrator and consultant for Salesforce.com.
Derek is responsible for sales in the Mid-Market space for GCR, in addition to being responsible for all application development at Laputa Technologies.
Eddie Chan
Eddie Chan brings tremendous leadership to the Laputa team with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from Rotman School (University of Toronto). He has over 13-years combined system engineering, consulting, private equity investment, business development and M&A experience. Prior to founding Laputa, Eddie was the Vice President of Corporate at a top 3 software outsourcing company in China with a specific focus on Cloud Computing. Past companies include Nortel, Ericsson, Bell Canada International, Vengrowth Capital, Walden International and hiSoft Technology.
Eddie will lead the Laputa team in Business Development efforts while also looking after all sales for the Enterprise market.
Mark Lui
Mark Lui brings over 10 years of CRM experience to the team with an unprecidented technical background. Having worked for such CRM companies as Salesforce.com and Maximizer in both Consulting and Pre-Sales roles, Mark has an in-depth understanding of the enterprise software space and the evolution from client-server to cloud computing. Having managed implementations for such companies as Sunlife and Maxims in both Toronto and Hong Kong, Mark has brought this technical expertise to the Laputa team.
Mark heads up our Professional Services team and looks after implementation for all of our clients.
